Gerry Laffy is a London based mixed media artist with a long and varied career in art, music and film. A graphic artist at London Weekend TV in 1978, co-founder of 80’s glam rockers Girl he went on to release 32 albums with Girl, John Taylor, Ultravox, Sheer Greed, the London Cowboys and also as a solo artist. He has played on stage or in a studio with Duran Duran, LA Guns, and the Stray Cats.

For 15 years he managed 80’s video director wiz Russell Mulcahy and steered him through a dozen movies including the classic films ‘Highlander’ with Sean Connery and ‘Ricochet’ with Denzel Washington and ‘well over 100’ music videos for Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac and many other 80’s superstars.

Gerry's art is renowned for it's political satire, his rock heroes and his mixed media work that uses light boxes, gold leaf, sequins, 3D art and his ubiquitous diamond dust. He has many celebrity clients and his art is in collections across the world.
